WEM^®- Climate Grid

The WEM^®- Climate Grid is a modular wall heating grid consisting of Ø 16 mm composite metal and plastic pipes fixed to mounting rails.
Being modular, these can be mounted very quickly. Using the mounting rails, the grids are fixed to the wall with screws or dowels and connected with press fits. Afterwards, the grids must be plastered over using clay, lime or gypsum plaster of approx. 30 mm thickness.

WEM^®-Climate Grids can be installed on walls that are to be plastered and that plaster will adhere to.

The u-value (former k-value) of the wall should be less than 0,5 w/m²K for existing structures and less than 0,35 W/m²K for new constructions. This minimises heat loss and allows the wall heating to reach the indicated output levels.

It does not apply to retrofitting existing structures where parts of the existing structure are to be preserved. When refurbishing existing buildings additional insulation may need to be installed.
